I was also "invited" to submit an "application & resume" for the so-called "Purchasing Manage" position, (paying upwards of $52,800+ per year, working a regional territory from my home). When I followed up initially, the weirdness started, big-time! First, the fax number they sent me would not accept a fax...then their phone number was only an answering -machine with a vague, hardly intelligible message from some lady in New York. I left a message two days ago. Nobody from this apparent "shadow-company", COMMODUS TRADING, has even bothered to return my call.

I also received an offer of $2200 bi-weekly ($57,200 annually) from Andrea Fischer out of NY. I think this is a scam. I am sure the account that they are asking us to use does not exist. We would be responsible for all the purchases that we make with our credit card. Why can't this company provide a credit card for us to use. It's all to complicated and smelly. I am sure it's a scam and I will pass on the offer.

My husband got the same offer. He is considering accepting but of course won't give out any credit card or banking information. If this isn't a scam and they follow up on what they claim about giving you their banking info to do money transfers and supplying a company credit card, then it could be real. My only concern is if this is some sort of money laundering scheme or some scheme to avoid paying import duties. I will be interested to see how it goes with bek79.

Hi All.. consider this... 1) when we transfer money from their given account to our cc card, they can get our CC details from the bank statement. 2) they are interested in high cc level card/person (ex. cc limit $15,000, card debt $2000, they pay $2000, and later take all our card balance) 3) Why they dont have any website.. (such a big company, giving thousand of $ to many people, why they dont have website... its a 3 hr job for an expert and availabe lessthan $10/-
So guys considering all those aspect, I think she is aiming something big!!!! Keep posting... let see..

I agree with Josei. Everyone, please be cautious of this company. I have reported them to the Ohio Attorney Generals Office. After speaking with "trnoble11," via email about this I feel that this company is gaining access to our credit card information because we are transfering balances to the cards they provide, which do not belong to them. I believe they are using valid credit cards (our credit cards) to pay/transfer balances. It will take the credit card companies and credit card customers at least 30 days to detect the fraud. Keep in mind that these purchases and balance transfers will not have a payment due for at least 30 days and Andrea and her people will be long gone before the scam is determined. Once the bank realize that the owner of the credit card did not authorize the transfer they will have to reverse the transaction and the balance you initially owed will reappear along with all the other charges you made with your credit card. My gut is telling me that this is a huge scam and these people are pulling this across the USA.

I would suggest that you all contact the credit card company to find out if the credit card account # provided to you actually belong to Commodus Trading or not. When "trnoble11" checked the credit card that was provided to him the bank confirmed that the credit card did not belong to Commodus Trading and we he questioned Andrea about the situation things went down hill and she stopped responding to him. I say stear clear of these people... "It's a scam."

Honesty - We never saw anything about transferring balances to credit cards they provide, only transferring from their bank account to our credit card. Granted, if they can see the credit card info on their bank statement after the transfer is made, then that's a problem. I'm still thinking this is a scam but we are going to continue until we hit anything fishy - and will confirm any money transfers or other financial info before proceeding as bek79 did.

djoy3, I figured that the Bank account number is a bank credit card account number. Andrea told me that I would be transfering my credit card debt to their account. I have a few credit cards and I always transfer my high interest credit card balances to the lower interest credit card accounts.

I decided not to get involved, but based on my conversation with Andrea, I was led to believe that it would be a credit card account that I would be transfering my debt to. I noticed how their Bank keeps changing; Bank of America, US Bank, Chase Bank, etc... and I am sure it's because they are using several different credit card accounts. It doesn't make sense for them give all their employees different bank accounts. I can see a company having a couple different accounts, but they have given several differnt banks for people to use.

Hi
I have talked to Andrea on several occasions. I am very excited to
be working for Commodus. They have paid off two major credit cards
and I will be making the purchases on Monday. They just want to
see if you can handle the job before they stick their neck out and
give you their company credit cards. She is a very professional lady
very nice. The company pays well and all you sceptics will some day
wish you would have worked with this company. It is going to be big
and I am going to do my best to help them get there. Andrea you

All,

Again, my question is has anyone been paid? It doesn't matter that your credit cards were paid off. If they are using accounts to pay your cards that do not belong to them that is credit fraud and those transactions will be reversed; just give the bank time to figure it out. Read all my earlier post for more info.

I was a Credit Manager for 15 years for a fortune 200 company (Industry: Distribution), which had more than 240,000 employees. I lost my job due to the credit crisis and economy issues. I oversaw the companies credit and credit card fraud departments. I am very familiar with this type of stuff. Everyone be cautious. I wish everyone well.

Okay, this is what everyone that transfered balances to Commodus Trading's account need to do... Call the bank of the account that Angela gave to you and ask the bank does the account belong to Commodus Trading. Make sure to call the bank directly; get their number online or from 411. If the bank tells you that the account does not belong to them, you have a problem. This is what has happened to others that transfered their credit card balances to the account # that Andrea gave and when Andrea was questioned about providing someone else's account she ceased all communication with the individual.

As of today people have not been paid and Andrea will not respond to phone calls or emails. The senerio above is what helped me to decide not to get involved with this scam. Until some people can confirm getting paid from this company, I must go with the facts, which are not favorable for Commodus Trading (CT).

Facts:
1) The bank has confirmed that CT is not using an account that belongs to them.
2) Not one person has been paid and everyone that followed all the steps are still waiting for their pay.

answered: 1 year ago

...
3) Andrea has ceased all communication with those who have questioned her about why she had them transfer balances to an account that does not belong to her company.

Now on the brighter side, the old saying goes, everything happen for a reason. I shared this info with Tom today and wanted to put it out to everyone else. I left my job after 19 years as a US customs international agent, to run my 20 acre horse farm full time. I ran into some people in the horse world that showed me something AMAZING!! I had to get involved I knew people needed to see this. I have made over $600 bucks in 15 days just helping and showing people how to eliminate there food and groceries bills and make money doing it. This company went from 11 months ago, 400 people to over 75,000 people it will be 1 year old next month. Its in a Billion dollar industry and is projected to be over 85 Billion in the next 5 years. walmart is testing 1 store in Calif now for home grocery delivery, Amazon is testing in Washing state, even Amway is trying to get involved. Dale Calvert is rated the # 1 trainer he came out of retirement from 3 million a year to get involved in this business, IT A SLEEPING GIANT $$$$$. I have passed out 5$ gift walmart cards at the gas pumps people thought I was crazy, but guess what they jumped into this business!! . I work with disability children through horses, and I am a equine massage therapist. I want quality of life and freedom with no money worries and to feed my 11 horses :)

I think everyone here wants a better life and more money, after all isn't thats why were all here lured by CT possiable more money?

I am like most of you, and am very questionable about this job offer. I suggest that you read up on the KNI Logistics job scam or search for Gregory Moon. (Search via Google for best response)
It is the same type of job scam. You get money into your account and then purchase items to ship. Once the items are shipped and out of the US, the money transferred to your account is rejected. I lost over $6,000 on this.
I have not been able to locate an actual address for Andrea, but I know that it is in the same area in New York City. KNI used a woman named Natalie Williams. I think Andrea and Natalie are the same person.
I checked with my CC before I purchased the items, and they assured me it was a valid bank transfer and there was no problem as it could not be stopped. But when it was stopped, they said the bank made a misstake and the money was suppose to go to annother person. After I showed them all of my doccuments that I was to receive the funds, they said they were sorry but there was nothing they could do.
BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: “we could not do anything for you” or “you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days”.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember… Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck… Let us know how you do!

I have been following all these blogs trying to figure out if this is a ligitimate offer or a scam. I find it very interesting that most of you are sceptical without even trying first but I believe that you have good reasons. I did do some research on the company itself and found that there is a Commodus Trading GmbH company in switzerland, that they do exactly what Andrea is asking everyong to do. I found that the company information and registration information Andrea provided is the same. I also researched the European business registration and on zefix.com you can find that commodus trading business is registered and in legal standings. I did find that the business registration information matches what Andrea has given.

Now even though I found all this information still doesn't mean that she took it and it is still a scam. This is what I am trying to figure out at this time. Has anyone checked to make sure your card has fraud protection and if it will cover this type of situation?

So.......I wasn't sure that it's a real company before yesterday. I got my 2 weeks salary and commissions yesterday. I got a direct deposit as mentioned in my papers. Just to let you know that I had done couple purchases and did not get issues or problems. You can think what you want....I'm going to sign a contract with them....I'm glad.

Well my mother got offered a job with Commodus, and we total have made $50,000 worth of shipments. The credit cards were paid off for a while, but the payments never went through and now we owe that money to the credit card company and they won't let us claim fraud. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY. :(

This is a scam. We now owe 50k to our credit card company because the payments Commodus made did not go through. And we can't claim fraud because we made the payments. :(

I think that there is a few people here that might be on this scam. How is it possible that they do not have a website. I think even my dog has one, and they are supposed to be a big company. Hello!? Red flag!! Also, their grammer is soo bad, they do not even use spell check on their primary instructions. This whole thing is fishy to me, this system could really work and be profitable for an international company. It's too bad that they want to take advantage of people that really want to succeed. Wish you guys luck:)

Hello everybody,

I used a chase DC to treansfer 3986 $ to my account The bank said it could not be done. my name was not on the account. that was not legal.
And for all you people that got your credit cards paid off you will receive a reverse chargeback, and if you got your paycheck it will be reverse charge as well.. the company is a international company I think south of SOHO in NY Andera uses a Verizon land line phone number. Give me time I working on the adredd to the land line # SHE USES. were thinking the phone was rerouted back to swisserland or where ever there from. They could even be using the real company Commodus Trading through fraud.
There is no info on them in NY the # used is to a unmatched name, We wil figuerit out.

I found something that is legal, it helps people and you can make money.
