We reserved a vehicle in Canada prior to our trip to the Netherlands. We reserved an Automatic but received a Standard, and asked for a mid sized car, but got a small one. It had not been cleaned inside nor outside. Toothpicks and papers were found on the floor of the vehicle, and the luggage compartment was equally dirty. Were unable to check for scratches or damge on the outside due to its dirty condition. Bacause of the distance between the pick up area and the registration area, we had no option but to take what we got, but we were not happy and informed the attendant when the car was returned.

We had a reservation to pick up a car at Farnborough airport on July 1st. Reservation was made thru Carlson Wagonlit /Liberty Global Inc.
This was confirmed in an email from Hertz a day or two previous.
Upon arrival at Farnborough there was no car and no hertz rep.
After an hour it was arranged that Hertz would send a driver to pick us up and take us to Abingdon (I think) where the only car was a Ford and NOT the Audi A4 or equal we reserved.after 2 days a Volvo SUV was delivered to us but no agreement was left!
Upon returning this to Heathrow, we were helped by your rep Linda-LII.she was great and got us on our way. She deserves 4 stars.
This is the 2nd time in a row that this has happened to us when renting a car at Heathrow and is certainly not in the Hertz tradition of great service.
So can I continue to rent a car from Hertz for pick up at Heathrow and if so how?

When we rented the vehicle at the airport from Hertz in Frankfurt, Germany my husband, son-in-law and I were told the cost was 1275 euro and we had unlimited mileage.
When we brought it back to the airport we were charged .35 times the mileage we had driven the vehicle. We should not have been charged for the mileage. The mileage was in addition to the 1275 euro.

My name is Henri Sergent ,I have been a client for over 10 years.On monday october 2nd I had a reservation for a car in Paris CDG.The RA # is 558431882 Code FRCDG50.When I arrived a the counter to pick-up the car I was received by one of your agent under the name of KASSARO.He was very courteous,and helped me with the reservation.I realised that the car that was given to me was not a diesel,I therefore kindly asked him if there was any possibility to get a different car.He ask me to wait a few minutes and see what could.He went out of way to find me another vehicle.A couple of phone calls later he handed me the keys for another car.This employee should be commanded for his dedication to make people like very happy.Please make sure he what a great asset he is to Hertz.

We rented a car from the office at Lyon Part Dieu Rail station and everything was wonderful. The car was ready and we were in and out in no time. The young lady who worked with us was more than helpful and made the whole experience go smoothly. Will use them again .

number one, unbelieveable I could not use my Hertz card unless I had a reservation?
number two, required an extra $450 US blocked to get rental, still waiting for this refund!!!

Hertz, Ben Gurion Airport, Near Tel Aviv Israel. #1. would not accept my Hertz card, "WITHOUT RESERVATION"?. #2. REQUIRED AN EXTRA $450 US blocked to get car, still waiting 5 business days for it to be returned, they told me within 24 hours!!!!! Crap service!!!!! Terry Russell

15th of June, 2012 I have paid sum for rent of car to TRAVEL JIGSAW (rentalcars.com) and then I have received Voucher which have specified that all paid in full, with reference to the company Hertz.
According sms-banking information from my bank(19th of June,2012, 14:42)for rent by Hertz the new additional sum have blocked on my amount. Blocked money has not yet returned. Moreover, from rented location in Munich aiport we were not given seats for children. When can I get return of blocked money?
