Paycheck Plus (paycheckplus.ie) Edit

Seriously? Seeerrriously? Yeah, I thought I was going crazy or being childish about my money, but I guess I wasn't. I'm wondering when it became okay for companies to give you a paycard without telling you anything about it, and the paycard stealing 10% - 15% of your pay EVERY paycheck. When it was given to me, and I talked about it, people always mentioned that there were fees, but they never said it RANDOMLY doubles the fee of things you buy or charges you HALF of what you took out. I asked a co-worker recently, describing my problem, and it turns out it does the SAME thing to her. (She thought she was going crazy.) OH AND ANOTHER CO-WORKER TOLD ME IT DOES THAT ALSO. ...I made $571.00 this paycheck (my highest amount ever), and $40.00 was stolen, because I withdrew $40.00 (infact I think it stole $50.00). SO YAY it charged me double for what I took out! Woo-Hoo! :) I think a couple paychecks ago $70.00 was stolen. (I think I had a $490.00 paycheck).
Evidentally everyone knows this happens, and it's always been happening, but for some reason it's A-O.K. What the fuck? I was supposed to have around $520.00 - $528.00 (a bit more) left, but I only had 488.00 on hand.. and I receieved a $5.00 tip recently. I've been trying to withdraw the FULL amount out of the card everytime too, but places only let me do withdrawls of $100.00 max each time... so it gives it the chance to charge you for each withdrawl.

Oh and I've been keeping a detail buy basis on everything I get, and NOTHING ever adds up! People I know say the SAMMEEE thing.

Oh and the cool thing is, you'll never know when it decides to double a payment; It's so spontaneous that you can't explain just how awesome it is! (Well I just did. HURHURHUR) Oh and I got my thing changed to paper check today. :)

I did not get my check from this company I worked for and I did not know that my check was deposited to this Paycheckplus debit card. As I have not been able to get hold of the card, I 'incurred' maintenance fees due to inactivity. When I told them the situation, they decided not to refund me the fees.

We all have a choice, ask the company to just cut a physical check. Do not agree to this CARD!

I did not get my card until months later and was charged fees. I was told that, because it was obvious that I never used the card or opened the account online, that they will reverse the fees after 2 or 3 weeks. Guess what, 2 or 3 weeks later, they tell you the 'recommendation' was not approved. Of course, they also charged another set of fees for the 2 or 3 weeks they asked you to wait!

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR EMPLOYERS TO USE THIS FACILITY! THIS IS A SCAM PREYING ON PEOPLE!

i tried to pay a bill over the phone and was unable due to the wrong area code being entered i called and spoke to the company 5 times and they refused to authorize the transaction due to the wrong code, well the area code was fixed and my billing company called my card company and they worked it out, and my card will till NOT release my money for my bill ITS MY MONEY I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IT WHENEVER I WANT! after calling and talking to so many different managers and workers at the card company i told them not only are you loosing my business you will be losing the business of my company which provides several for employees, they had no problem loosing our business, now i then tried to transfer my funds to a secondary pay card they wont allow that either, they website it under maintenance and wont allow me to do so over the phone, nor change my address or any other such change to be done, the better business bureau needs to take a look at these people closely, i told the company what they were doing was ILLEGAL and they had no response! i cant describe how upset i am with paychekplus, children could run a better business than they are!

I cannot wait to open a bank account in my new city so that I can get my paycheck deposited there, and can get rid of this horrible card. The customer service is awful. I called to find out why, 25 days later, there was still a $250 hold on my card from a hotel stay. Ummm...I think it's pretty obvious that after a few days the hotel has been paid with another card especially when they knew full well that it was a 1 night stay. It's ridiculous to hold my..MY money for 30 days! And the customer service representative....barely spoke English and was getting snippy at me because I couldn't understand him. Do NOT get this card, and if you must, get rid of it ASAP like I will be doing!

I kept seeing add your second paycheck ect. to this card so I went online and printed out the direct deposit form for my account and sent it in to my other and main employer. This past friday when I was suposed to be paid my paycheck was not on my card so I called and got some clueless guy on the phone. In between all of the "umm's" he managed to tell me that I must wait till 10 am the next day. I was pissed I could have already had my paycheck at any other institution or just oppted to keep recieving paper checks. Well I waited until 11 am then called back demanding to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor barely spoke english and told me I had to call my HR department. I told him 4 or 5 times that I had already recieved my paystub and that my HR department was not to blame that his bank had lost my money and he needed to find out exactly where my money was or I'd be pressing charges for theft. He said he'd launch an investigation that would take 72 hours. I said hell no I'm calling the non emergency police in your city as soon as we hang up..... He hung up on me. a few hours later I recieved a call from them stating that my HR department had the wrong account number they then provided me with the "correct" one.. I asked how was this number assosiated with my account wihen it wasn't the one on the form I printed from their site and handed in? He said he didn't know then told me it would take another 10 business days to handel the return of my funds.... BS!! I'm waiting until monday to call hr and put a stop payment. DO NOT GET THIS CARD!!!
