I got an anxiety level assessment after answering several questions and the report came back that I was "very anxious". Well, no kidding. The website is hosted by a fellow named Ryan Rivera who claims he knows how to "re-program" the brain to cure anxiety, and would follow up with a personalized video. All I had to do was to send two payments of $19.50 through paypal. Like an idiot, but a very anxious one looking for some kind of help, that's exactly what I did. It was almost a month ago, but still no video. I sent a couple of emails to him, no response. I also tried to contact Calm Clinic but my emails were bounced back. I can only conclude that this is a scam.
Honestly, helped me so much. email me at email@example.com if you have questions. Anxiety is a bitch and this program works. BTW I live in AZ and don't have a job currently, I discovered calmclinic when I "thought" i was going crazy.
Good site but faceless organisation. They lost my business as they did not respond to my emails and I could not validate the presenter. A real shame.Just a little interaction would have so helped and made me feel more comfortable
I didn't spend any money on this because it got me very suspicious.
Think about it:
They promise to cure your anxiety "forever".
They say that what they have to offer is a solution you will not find anywhere else. No doctor will give you this solution, etc etc - how is it possible that such a difficult, complex matter can be fixed just like that? And how is it that all the knowledge and science available in the world cannot be better than this mystery solution?
I believe a scam like this is even worse because it plays with people's health. Who is to say if someone gets disappointed with this experience, what they might do as a consequence, considering they are feeling so bad already.
It seems to me that this site was made solely for the purpose of making money off of desperate people (which I am). I fell for it but soon realized it was illegitimate after signing up for the free trail and yet receiving no information. Fortunately, I was able to cancel the payment before being charged. Lesson learned: If it seems to good to be true, it probably is. If you don't believe me try taking the "quiz" first as a male then taking it again as a female. The video will tell you it works for either "men only" or "women only", according to the gender you indicated on the quiz, yet each speaker on the video has the exact same testimony. Hmmm..... sounds fishy.
Misty: No response to my not being able to login...
I took the anxiety quiz and was told I have high anxiety, as if I needed told this! Decided to order the program. When I tried to login I was unable to do so. I called got an answering machine with a difficult to understand message, sent 4 emails and finally out of frustration canceled the order.
I did not get a response from the calm clinic for FOUR days and I had a free seven day trial. The only response was to confirm cancelation! No help with the login whatsoever.
There is a good program called Attacking Anxiety by Lucinda Bassett and I would recomend this to anyone. It did wonders for me years ago and as far as my red faced gullible moment? Well.......enough said.
