This is a copy of my complaint "comment" sent to SC Johnson regarding their product Drano Gel Max. Obviously, I am not going to be a repeat customer!
I purchased an 80 Fl Oz bottle of this product to use on my kitchen sink yesterday. I followed your instructions to the letter, and I ended up using the whole thing but the water is still standing in my sink. I'd like a full refund for the purchase price of $11.99 +tax. Either that, or how about your paying for a plumber to come into my house to fix it?
Additionally, I attempted to call your customer support. The computer recorded message indicated it would be less than 1 minute wait time. It took over 10 minutes for someone to come on the line.
After talking to the customer service representative I was FINALLY able to find the "rebate" form. (This is not very well identified on your website.) In the fine print at the bottom of the form, it indicates a limit of "Money Back Refund" (up to $8.75) per household." I would like the FULL AMOUNT of $11.99 +tax refunded. A guarantee of only a PARTIAL refund is NO GUARANTEE!!!
