I was very disappointed in the water bottle. After a short time of use,, there were rust spots inside. I emailed them and was told to clean with Bartenders' Friend. This did not remove any of the rust. And gradually more and more rust was formed. It was disgusting to drink out of this container. I threw it out.
I think the routines and cleaning habits recommended by Flylady have merit. But the products she sells disappoint. Every day, I get at least 6 emails of letters to Flylady raving about her miracle cleaning supplies. I bought several and was excited to get them. I waited two weeks without even a confirmation email, and couldn't find a number on the website to call. Once they arrived, I took out the highly touted purple rags. They supposedly clean like a magic eraser. Fail. I tried them on the hardest jobs first & can do better with a paper towel. The cute days of the week dish towels look nice in my kitchen, but they don't dry my dishes. The "rubba" scrubbers I bought really don't do anything. I tried them on soap scum and was sorely disappointed. The broom lets even large items pass through the bristles. I emailed my disappointments to Flylady and did not see my letter sent out to anyone. I did receive an email back saying I can find all the instructions under product the product descriptions. No luck. So who are all these thrilled customers that write the published letters? If they received the same products I did, they must really take Flylady's mantra of giving up perfectionism is the home to the extreme. She may mean well, but the next product I'm buying is a bigger fly swatter.
